The small resort is located about 1 hour south of Manado, the houses are built quite steeply on a slope. It can be a bit sweaty in the heat. The park-like grounds with tropical plants are very well maintained.
We stayed in one of the four "free-standing chalets", very nice with a terrace overlooking the sea and Bunaken. The open restaurant/bar is also very nice, but it would be a good idea not to serve the whole buffet at the same time, as this makes everything cold...
The resort offers interesting day trips (ask for Chris as driver/guide), e.g. the "Minahasa Highland" tour, to Tangkoko Nature Reserve (jungle with monkeys etc.), and trekking tour to the Lokon volcano (this is probably only for the hardy).
Access to the entire resort area is secured and locked, there is a security service.
