"Where guests leave as friends" - there is nothing to add. The team takes care of the guests, is always there and helpful, takes you into the city or on a walk in the village. Perfect to get to know the country and its people. If you have time for it, because the diving is also fantastic and well organized.
The team in the hotel and diving is partly young and still in apprenticeship, because a local school or the education of the villagers is supported. Nevertheless, the service leaves nothing to be desired.
The resort is not located on Bunaken Island, but Sulawesi itself, which allows you to go exploring on land as well. I really liked the proximity to Manado (about 20min by moped) to take in the city life. This as a small contrast to the quiet resort with beautiful pool, chirping crickets in the garden and excellent massages.
When choosing a room, the more spacious bungalow (instead of the simpler single room) is recommended for solo travelers.
