What an amazing diving school! The whole team is super motivated and friendly! The guides are very dedicated and the atmosphere in the shop is great and pleasant, so you enjoy spending time there and having a drink. It's basically one complex, the Gin House and the diving school, as they are so close together.
Since there was a large American diving group there and they always went out on the big boat, we were always on the small boat, "The Yellow Boat." It's really very small, but the trip is only very short. The trip to the harbor with the trucks is no problem, but at the harbor you have to get off every time to go through "immigration." That's just the way it is :)
The only thing we can criticize is that getting into the boat at the harbor is really not easy when the boat doesn't dock at the stairs. You have to be careful, it's a bit tricky. Furthermore, we just weren't used to going back to the harbor after the first dive and returning to the shop.
So you're not on the boat during the surface interval taking a break, but rather traveling back and forth... But there would be no shade at all on the Yellow Boat, so it probably wouldn't be pleasant to wait there for an hour. We can wholeheartedly recommend the diving school from A to Z. Everything is just right!
Even if you have a request, such as organizing a taxi, they are happy to help. Safety is clearly the top priority: we had two days of high waves, and the dives were canceled. The guides came to the hotel at 7 a.m. for breakfast and informed us. On the third day, the waves were no longer high, but the visibility was very, very poor.
We went out and dived, but as soon as we reached the bottom, Timo decided to abort the dive. It was ideal for us that we were there for 9 days and had planned 6 days of diving. That gave us 3 days to spare, and we were able to make up for all the dives we had booked.
