Absolutely one of the best dive boats (catamaran). There is plenty of space on the two decks and the cabins are functional and, to my understanding, large. There is also a cabin with a bunk bed. The decks were always kept clean. Diving is done
with 12 l and 15 l steel cylinders, so there is almost no need for a lead belt. Daisy, our cook, provided us with 3 meals a day and plenty of cookies and cake in between. The crew (Fred the captain, the guides Elodie, Victor and Julian)
are super friendly and absolutely competent. Safety is a top priority. The dives are all drift dives and not suitable for beginners. We were in Fakarava in June 2024 for the "wedding of the groupers". There were lots of schools of fish, manta rays, a large number of sharks and you can watch the migration of the groupers, thousands of which are on their way to Fakarava (and presumably to other islands) to spawn. Since 2023 there is unfortunately in Franz. Polynesia a ban on night diving! As most of the spawning takes place at night, I was a little disappointed. However, we were still lucky when we started a dive at 6:00 am and were able to observe a few stragglers. All in all, they were sensational dives that you probably only experience once in a live
experienced. Absolutely recommendable!!!
