Moin.
We have within the group much about our BDE tour from 24.11.-01.12.2022 geschnackt.
We are in agreement.
The top of all safari boats must be measured against this market participant.
We are a group of diving instructors, of which the most inexperienced is a TL* with 600 TG.
So we bring a little bit of knowledge with us.
We are usually sparing with superlatives.
Not in this evaluation.
Superlatives to those who deserve superlatives.
For living and living on the ship:
Very, very, very good!
Everything is clean, everything is hip, everything is intelligently arranged and it also smells good.
Both the highly professional work, the attention to detail and the injected experience is everywhere visible, tangible and smellable.
Rest areas with and without sun, water dispensers, bars (yes, there are several :-)), are suitable both for retreat and for group "hangouts".
The cabins including the bathrooms are almost surreally spacious, bright and friendly and equipped with an extremely successful lighting concept. We're guessing feng-shui or something.
Ah, and the good Grohe shower systems (including rain shower (!), no shit!) are just great.
The food:
Plenty, frequent, handmade, healthy, and above all, very, very tasty!
Amazing: Every morning there were fresh pastries (even pretzels!), There was a buffet every lunch, every evening a menu of at least three courses, the snacks in between were varied, lovingly presented and all together very, very tasty!
Should the galley crew open a restaurant, we would be regulars.
The friendliness of the crew seemed genuine and heartfelt.
No half tortured "service smile".
Over all we believe to have met a quite "harmonious bunch".
Congratulations and the highest respect to "the personnel department".
To the diving:
The sea is not a zoo.
Dive sites are the same for almost all operators.
BUT there are differences in what you make of it.
We watched a highly professional, friendly dive crew at work.
Conspicuously good eyes for which guest, which dive wants/needs and is able to feel safe and very well entertained.
Both we as professionals and those with a büschn less experience, came FULL at their expense.
The intelligent route planning ensured a minimum of boats at the dive site and a maximum of comfort and safety.
The experience of the crew oozes from every pore.
Very good organization and response times of the seamanship, even in sometimes really tough conditions.
We saw longimanus, hammerheads, silky sharks, thresher sharks, mantas, dolphins .... and all the "usual suspects", partly in places where we would not have looked without a guide. Compliments.
About the equipment (you can read everything on the homepage, here only briefly highlighted):
Rental equipment: Amazingly expensive, new stuff (!) for a very good rental price.
Bottles: Steel and or aluminum bottles
Bottle filling: There was (after previous arrangement) Nitrox mixture after desire percentage O2
Safety equipment: Satellite based tracking of drifted divers by ENOS system
(We wish ENOS would be mandatory for all providers, but unfortunately it is not.
Many shy away from the costs.
We would not want to dive without it anymore ... and our friends and families don't want that either.
Conclusion:
If we go to the Red Sea again, we book here again.
Why should we also deteriorate.
