We had a great vacation in Egypt, El Gouna at the 4 star hotel Sultan Bey.

Our trip started from Düsseldorf what a relief from Schiphol Airport. No chaos no long queues and times. It starts with parking in P4 with the shuttle train to the departure hall in 2 minutes you are there.

Then check in, security check, customs and have a nice cup of coffee and get ready for the 5 hour flight. The Charter is good and very efficient.

Arriving at Hurghada international airport you are immediately well taken care of by FTI. A quick visa and through. Into the right bus and on to the hotel.

The hotel is not large scale but very nicely decorated with an inner courtyard with a store and outside towards the water the swimming pool and the beds and seats.

The hotel organizes BBQ food 2 X in the week, 1 x in the courtyard and 1 x by the water/pool. With entertainment very nice.

In addition, every other evening is a food theme. So there was an Asia/India, America/Mexico, Italian evening. Very tasty and varied. The food is of high quality and very tasty.
There is also life cooking every night.

We did not book diving through you, we arranged it ourselves through Dive Trek. They were next to the hotel. Therefore we chose this. Not to travel all the way around the city to make the appointments, dive formulas, dive books and appointments in terms of times.

The dives we did were with a free lance dive instructor. Mohammed really gave you value for money. Put you at ease and knew how to find the best elks and also told you a lot about the site and afterwards through a book to show you the fish, snails, coral.
We did 3 days and a total of 6 dives. Dive cost €70 pp. This included pick-up and return from El Gouna/Sultan bey to Hurghada as well as lunch and coffee, tea and soft drinks.

As a cultural outing we took the plane for a day to Cairo, really well organized by Meeting Point.
