We were (once again) on board the MY Blue Pearl for a diving safari. Of course, you can see that the Pearl is at the end of the season, she is no longer fresh as a daisy and is eagerly awaiting dry dock, which was also planned immediately after our tour, so that she should be undergoing her well-deserved overhaul by now. There are a few things that need to be overhauled, especially in the cabins. The cleanliness of the entire boat was excellent without exception.
The crew, from the sailor to the stewards, deckhands, guides and captain, were all very attentive to the guests and did an all-round outstanding job, great! All the briefings about the boat, the tour and each individual dive were always comprehensive and therefore all the dives were in line with the briefings. The guests' wishes were also taken into account and it was even agreed what the group would prefer in terms of dive sites. We have never experienced this so democratically and thought it was great.
The kitchen crew worked their magic and most of the food was really very good. Unfortunately, there were one or two "blunders" at this point in the rating, sorry for that.
The safety facilities (RWM, BMA, vests, EPIP, islands etc.) were in place, but unfortunately the islands in particular were not marked in any way regarding age and testing etc., so one star less here.
We will gladly come again
