We had a super nice week aboard the Blue Seas. The ship was completely booked and yet you had enough space and retreat. We had a lower deck cabin, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large enough to shower without putting the entire room under water. In some places you notice that the cabins are a bit outdated (slanted drawers that could hardly be opened) but all small things that were not important for us. The food was incredibly good and varied and the best we have had so far on a liveaboard in Egypt. Twice dinner was served on the upper deck. Once there was barbecue with steak, grilled vegetables and salads, the other time sushi and grilled prawns. What we were especially pleased, there were daily Egyptian dishes (Koshari, Ads, Molochea, Falaffel, Humus, etc.) Unfortunately, one often misses the delicious Egyptian food, here you got it. Our dive guide was great, very experienced, helpful and friendly. The briefings were top and clearly structured with emergency plan and everything. We were lucky and were both at the Brothers and on the 1st day in Daedalus only three boats, on the 2nd day of diving in Daedalus came over night unfortunately a lot of boats so that a total of 14 pieces were at anchor. Here it would have been nice if the dive times would not have been the same on all boats. Probably it would have been more useful to make the first dive at 7 instead of 6 o'clock, because almost all boats had started the first dive at the same time. Overall a great week with great dives, great food and a great group on the ship.
