The dive sites in Lembeh Strait are indescribable. For big fish fans this is nothing. Here is muckdiving and you always discover new things.
The dive center is run by Murex.
We were there for 3 weeks. Unfortunately we changed the dive guide 3 times and the boat almost every day. This meant that contact with fellow divers was a little too short for us, as the surface interval was also taken at the pool, which has the advantage that you can also get in or out for the 2nd dive.
Especially the change of the dive guide has disturbed us, because one was downgraded from a very good dive guide.
You can tell that the dive center here is geared more towards guests who stay for a week at most. These guests of course do not notice this.
The house reef can be dived for free.
Unfortunately, no MA was seen here during the first night dives. It also did not care if you come back to shore. After the complaint was made here, then someone was there. Apparently the house reef is not dived so often that this is regulated.
Partly the division of the boats was a bit questionable. We were once 6 divers, 5 snorkelers and 3 dive guides on a small boat. It was already very cozy.
From other dive centers we were used to a better service.
The dive prices are also not the cheapest in the Lembeh Strait. I would also recommend to book all dives in advance, because a later booking is very expensive and also no packages are made. Here the decision is rather less customer friendly.
