The boat is very spacious with all the necessary amenities. The room where pre-dive briefing is given was way too cold. Each time the divers raised the air conditioner temperature but each time it was turned down again by the crew. The food was good with not particularly much variety. The cabin was very spacious and everything worked very well. The dive guides were very disinterested. Honestly, this is the first time out of many diving vacations that I have experienced such dive guides. Very unfortunate. There was no smile and no nice interaction at all. After a few times, after the dive briefing, we joked to also talk in the most monotone way possible while yawning. The 2 crew members on the dive dohni were helpful and friendly though. In terms of safety, when taking off after the manta "dive"( it was not a real dive, we were on the sandy bottom at about 15 mtr depth and we were told not to bring a lamp ourselves) it was unsafe. The dive guides gathered up all the dive lights without further looking at us and took off. Since I did not have a diving light, I did not know when to make my safety stop. Fortunately, some guests did bring a light and it turned out that I had to "hang on" for another 2 minutes.
But it has been a great diving vacation.
Perhaps a tip for Diving World: instead of the noisy and not very friendly overnight hotel Huvan Beach hotel, perhaps the very good and helpful hotel Newtown Inn could be contracted.
